The cocktail contest was devised by Mr. Maynard, owner of the Rammer Jammer, for which he had his employees- namely Wade Kinsella and Shelley Ng - compete against one another to craft the best cocktail to serve at the Rammer Jammer. These cocktails were then presented for taste testing and judged at the Rammer Jammer's 30th Anniversary Party, where the winner was presented with a prize of five hundred dollars.DANG

- After the judging, Mayor Lavon Hayes accused Wade Kinsella of intentionally losing. Wade remarks in a way that could easily say that he did, in fact, did intentionally lose to save his best recipes for the bar he wanted to own someday.
