They met at a bar and went to George's boat without exchanging names. The next day he learned that she's the mayor's cousin and asks her to keep it a secret because he 'likes his legs'. She gets Lavon to ask George if he wants to tutor her. During study sessions, she constantly tries to seduce him. Eventually, they kiss in front of the Rammer Jammer but keep their 'relationship' a secret from Lavon.
They eventually tell Lavon and he accepts them. But when Tansy comes back into town, she and George start to get closer again and Lynly is clearly jealous. Eventually, she leaves town.
