Battle Of The Bands[]

Meatball (aka Meatball Ruther) was one of the people in Wade Kinsella 's band, he was supposed to be singing in the Battle of the Bands, but Zoe Hart thought he didn't sing so great, so she shared her opinion with Wade Kinsella, when he heard this at first he was mad, but then decided that he would sing with George Tucker, causing Wade Kinsella to kick Meatball off the band. After the first round, he decided to go with Meatball and then kicked George Tucker off the band, they didn't win the Battle of the Bands, which caused Wade Kinsella to lose the money he needed to open his bar.

Love With Lemon Breeland[]

Lemon had sex with Meatball, causing Meatball to fall in love with Lemon Breeland , Lemon Breeland said she couldn't stop having sex with Meatball, so she tried to push him aside, but she still couldn't so she tried to look for someone who would keep her busy. So she usesWade Kinsella , she acts like they're dating and pushes Meatball away, when Meatball hears he is mad, and wants her back. So one day when a Photographer was coming to Bluebell, Alabama to see the Gazebo, one of the Belles, told Meatball a way to get Lemon Breeland back, so he chained himself to the Gazebo, someone alerted Lemon Breeland, and she asked Lavon Hayes to go show the Photographer a tour of Bluebell, when Meatball saw Lemon Breeland he declared his love in a song, she said it was very nice, and asked Meatball to unchain himself, Meatball said he would but he wanted a goodbye kiss first, so he unchained himself and gave her a kiss, which the Photographer took many pictures of, and it went on the front page of their magazine.

At some point, Meatball started a relationship with Lily-Anne Lonergan. They were set to marry and take advantage of the discount Lemon was holding at Fancies when the fire burned the restaurant down and had to do it at the Rammer Jammer instead. Meatball was surprised to learn that "Run from Wade" was about his best friend, but was accepting that the two were exes. However, when he found out that Lily-Anne was with others, including George Tucker, he got into a fight during the vows and walked off, calling off the wedding.

Music Manager[]

A couple of years later, Meatball changed his tune in singing and found himself getting considerably more attention. Like the Truitt Brothers, he asked for George Tucker to serve as his manager while he tried to get started as a musician. Meatball impressed some heads and was able to get more gigs and presentations when his cousin, a professional country star offered to hire George Tucker to be her music manager. Eventually accepting, George moved to Nashville and his clients, Meatball included, moved with him. Meatball shared an apartment with the Truitt Brothers, which he hated. George was hoping the four could work collaboratively on a song to express a sense of Bluebell to Nashville. The four finished it as a gift to Zoe's newborn son.
