Can I get some major credit here? I worked very hard to bring you the story of Mr. Sunberg and his alien fascination. Lots of poking my head around the middle school. And you thought nothing scandalous could happen at the BlueBell Science Fair :)
But in all seriousness, Mr. Sunberg and his believing that aliens were going to touch down in BlueBell as well as communicating with them was pretty ridiculous. So it was with a great sigh of relief when we found out that his mind had gone all fuzzy due to lead poisoning from an extremely unseemly tattoo. My, my why anyone would want to deface their body like that is beyond me. Anyway, Mr. Sunberg is back to teaching and all is well. However, I’ll admit it. As much as I was the one to bring this story to light, I can’t rule out the idea of aliens in the sky. In fact, it’s naive and obtuse to even think we might alone in this world. The universe is so vast it’s utterly boggling. Yet I don’t think aliens’ first stop would be BlueBell. Although on second thought, Agnes’ sweet tea is definitely worth traveling from another galaxy for.
